Prestyl USA has introduced a new form of art to the world, one that doubles as an energy-efficient way to heat a home or business. Prestyl USA’s Radiant Artwork heating panels are state-of-the-art infrared panels of customizable thin-film artworks that provide enough heat for any room in a residential or commercial setting. By incorporating the efficient and reliable French thin-film technology that has been used by aircraft, ships, trains, homes and public buildings overseas for almost 16 years, Prestyl USA has created the perfect melding of art and heating technology.
The far-infrared technology works not by heating the air, but by reflecting energy via certain surfaces and absorbing it with others, creating a multi-directional warm experience within the room. Another advantage to the Radiant Artwork panels is that they are completely silent and don’t cause convection or air movement, as well as prevent moisture buildup, thereby reducing and eliminating mold.
According to a Prestyl press release, the typical energy savings versus traditional heating methods range from 15 to 50 percent, depending on the placement of the panels and building conditions. All of Prestyl’s far-infrared products are also environmentally-friendly, in that they are made with recycled materials and the product itself is 99 percent recyclable.
These thin-film panels come in white, black, or a custom color or design. Prestyl USA also has a list of 120 standard prints and graphics to choose from. Customers also have the option of sending in a family photo to have printed on the heating panel. Their website has a simulator which allows you to see the amount of power needed depending on the size of the room, and then choose from some of their designs to see what the panel would look like in your home or business.
Prestyl’s panels can be wall or ceiling mounted, require no plumbing or air-ducts and plug into a regular outlet. Their installation is as simple as hanging a picture, and their light weight makes them fully portable and easy to move from one room to another.
The panels range in size from: 24×24, 24×48 and 41.5×41.5, which range in price from $350-$700.
