High School Spirit of Innovation Challenge Finalists Selected

Officials with the Conrad Foundation have announced the 15 high school teams from across the country and the Isle of Man that will compete in the final round of the 2011-2012 Spirit of Innovation Challenge. The annual competition, presented by Lockheed Martin Corporation and PepsiCo, challenges high school student teams around the globe to combine innovation and entrepreneurship along with STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) to create commercially viable products to solve global and local challenges.

e2e Materials Wins ‘Composites Sustainability’ Award

e2e Materials, a clean technology spinoff of Cornell University that develops product made from its advanced biocomposite materials used for the furniture and cabinet industries has won the Award for Composites Excellence (ACE) for its Transform Worksurface product in the Composites Sustainability category. The award, announced by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) at the Composites 2012 conference in Las Vegas is provided to companies whose composite-based products demonstrate significant innovation and commercial application.

RBF Awarded Land Development Project of the Year by ASCE

RBF Consulting received a Land Development Project of the Year Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers, Orange County Branch. The Blackstone Community project was presented by Jeff Langdon, P.E. and honored at the Annual Awards Dinner on February 21 at the Center Club in Costa Mesa.
