For those wanting to be involved with the future of our planet and its ecosystems, the Conservation Gateway website is a good location to use and share with others – GBE

The Nature Conservancy’s Conservation Gateway launched its “Calling All Conservationists” campaign today. “Calling All Conservationists” invites conservation practitioners, scientists and decision makers to join the Conservation Gateway website. The website is the place to learn how the Nature Conservancy and its partners approach pressing conservation issues, and find the tools and resources used to support established and emerging strategies to today’s environmental challenges.

The Conservation Gateway website includes resources to support conservation planning and effective strategy implementation in terrestrial, marine and freshwater environments. The site also shares long-standing and innovative practices for climate change, ecosystem services, prescribed fire, the social side of conservation, partnerships and capacity building.

Interested conservationists can join the site for free and become a “Gateway Insider.” Gateway Insiders are able to create a profile, comment on articles and follow topics, and most importantly, download and rate how-to information, scientific literature, case studies, articles, newsletters, and other tools.

Conservation Gateway is a website of The Nature Conservancy, whose mission is to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. The Nature Conservancy created Conservation Gateway to share the organization’s knowledge and resources with the global conservation community and help contribute to the advancement of our collective knowledge on how to get conservation done effectively.
