While in school at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Eben Bayer and Gavin McIntyre invent a way to use fungi for a new use: rigid, molded materials. Some of their mechanical engineering peers think this project is crazy, but Eben and Gavin see it as a disruptive innovation that could help the planet.
