Scientists Report on Night-Warming Effect over Large Texas Wind Farms (via Clean Technica)
According to a recent press release from the National Science Foundation, large wind farms in certain areas in of this country appear to affect local land surface temperatures. The news is based on a paper published today in the journal Nature Climate Change. Liming Zhou, an atmospheric scientist…

“…the fact that warming may also be caused by cleaner forms of energy will present new challenges to global warming activists…”
Yet another example of the misunderstanding of the physics involved in climate change. Renewable energy intercepts energy (from the sun and wind, etc.) that would have ended up as heat anyway so there is no net increase of energy and no net increase in global temperatures. Ther may be localised increases in temperature because of some of that intercepted energy being released as heat at the local site but this will be matched by less heat energy being distrubuted further afield so the net effect is zero.
