New York Architects Elevated To the American Institute of Architects’ College of Fellows

The College of Fellows is one of the top honors that architects can get in their field. It is only for members who have made contributions of national significance to the profession. Of the more than 80,000 AIA architects in the US, there are fewer than 2,700 members who have been awarded with this honor.

Serrano, named after the weather phenomenons that it is built to endure and its designed structure: Storm, Tornado and Tsunami Interconnected Modules Shelters (STATIM) could be one of many life-saving mechanisms that become part of the built world. The STATIM Shelter System is a series of pre-cast concrete modules that are assembled with gasket joints and post-tension cables.
