		<description>I guess that for many homeowners this is the easy way - but - 15% is not much of a discount let alone steep discount - just the commission for the salesman and his expenses has been cut - replaced by free labor of others.

It would be good to see some real costs published for various materials and rough labor costs to provide people something to compare offers against. Retrofit companies aren&#039;t always the most honest bunch as anyone who has had offers for siding on their home or additional insulation can easily understand.

When I worked in India for many years I was always amazed at the Indian purchasing agents and their ability to get deals where others give up - they were very good. Discounts in bulk and for public good can be made available.</description>
