Totally and completely unfair. Shame on you, Alex. The building is what it is, and should be certified and applauded for being so. You DO NOT get to complain that what transpires inside the building should in some way affect this certification or appreciation of the systems involved.

Alex, you are just another example of supposedly green-minded individuals who do more damage to the movement than good. You shoot yourself in the foot at every opportunity. The sentient humans on the planet want to fix things and move forward. You and your kind, along with the knuckle dragging, Hummer driving, AGW denying cromags are two sides of the same coin. The coin that us sentient humans really would love to toss into the sea.

Wake up, grow up, evolve, or leave the planet. We're done with you.

I saw this press release a week or so ago. I heard they have Solatube Daylighting Systems installed in this place, which is actually really cool and unique for a fast food restaurant. Let's hope they work on improving their packaging so they can set an all around eco-friendly example for all other fast food chains.

Perhaps a LEED standard should be pursued for food service, because whether its fast food or slow food it is not in their guidelines. Sure factory farming is a problem, bu LEED does not address that (yet).
