What, I thought buying more stuff solves everything?

And didn't you know that the best way to save on energy is to locate your house in Florida for the winter and Seattle for the summer?

Yes the "game" is pretty poorly executed, but it could be easily saved if this media conglomerate "channel" would reach out to some real experts. There is no information on who compiled the data and interface so it is impossible to make helpful comments to the designers. But looking deeper into the whole site revealed it is a front for the NBC network, and has such delightful ditties as "Tips from Eco Chic Celebrities." Now it is pretty nauseating to see how the "stars" have become instant green experts, but now at least the "chic" home to have in West-LaLa is no longer the megabeast trophy mansion, but the right-sized eco-home (thanks to architects like Sarah Susanka). But let's remember one good thing, pop culture adopting green homes and eco-life-styles represents a positive litmus test of mainstreaming. A bad game here or there is not a huge bust in the grand scheme of things. It would make sense to contact the folks at "http://www.greenisuniversal.com/" and discuss rapid improvements to the game. Perhaps you can get a contract to do the work. ~ Bion
