Building codes generally run on a 3 year cycle, and I think LEED will probably be on a similar 2-3 year revision schedule rather than an annual one.  Running it too fast doesn&#039;t allow people to plan adequately in advance.</description>

My first impressions are that the USGBC is trying to shed the &quot;too rigid&quot; label from the LEED program. It&#039;s great to see that extra points can be awarded for regional issues - now comes the argument over just what each region&#039;s environmental needs are.
