Why does the Left always try to appeal to the fear in People, especially those with or having Children? This is the most ridiculous argument. Radon is found in close to everything you come in contact with. The food you eat and fed your child contain radon , your clothes, the ground you walk on and the mountains and trails you love to hike in ..oh and they also have thee terrible 'Asbestos' killer also. How has Man survived all this time without Father Lefty guiding us from the time we wake til we sleep? This whole radon issues is fueled by the ''quartz'' industry fielding trying to compete and get a portion of the market. They are being rejected as to quality and beauty so...turn to the typical ''bash our opponent'' tactics.
HOW GREEN CAN A TERRIBLE EVIL OIL MADE PRODUCT BE??!! LOL Hilarious to call a resin based product ''green'' They just wan tmore of your ''green'..$$$ that is

I am Brazilian born, and I have been visiting the states of Espirito Santo and Goias, where most granite extraction sites and Querries are located. Workers there have an average work load of about 8 to 10 hours daily. They are receiving radiation from the granite and the sun at levels way higher then the common cook in the kitchen in USA. To date no reports of cancer epidemic among them. How much experts on this forum know about it. Any hint?
Thank you all.

All this is very interesting. I have read that the funding for all of this research on radon was originated by Silestone and Cambria, the makers of the fake/immitation granite countertops. It makes you wonder what their motivation really is... regardless, it is good for everyone to know what the truth is. From my research so far on this topic, I have found that there are literally over 900 types of granites being sold today. The radon problems have only been slightly elevated in 1 or 2 types of granite (and that is questionable). Regardless, it would be nice for everyone to know which types pose problems so the government can take action on those specific stones and stop scaring everyone on the rest of the natural products on the market.
